Build of the Week
If you haven’t seen this build yet, you need to. Here is the build series. Mike takes on projects everyone else wants to build. With this build, he takes a formerly blown Ferrari 308 and drops in a K20. After building this car fully to his own desire, he took it to Australia (he’s based in the US) to race it in Time Attack. After several challenges and conquests…. The build fell off. Well he finally brought it back. He dives into the build again with a goal to get the car back on the track.
Article of the Week
There was a LOT of Mustang material posted this week. And there is 1 big reason: it’s the 60th anniversary of the iconic muscle car. One of the longest production vehicles of all time. Several of you probably drove (or drive) a Mustang at some point. The purchase price of the Mustang, aftermarket, and the popularity of it makes the Mustang one of the most loved muscle cars in history. I’m glad Ford is continuing to build them, even though I don’t drive one.
Fun Fact of the Week
The Ford Mustang is one of the longest production vehicles, but it does NOT have the longest standing production life. Currently, the Chevrolet Suburban is the longest produced vehicle starting production back in 1935. Other notable Vehicles still being produced and their original production year are: The Ford F-150: 1947, Chevrolet Corvette: 1953, Porsche: 1963, and the Ford Mustang: 1964.
